“We can include intersex men and trans men who may get pregnant by saying ‘pregnant people’ instead of ‘expectant mothers”, says new guidelines by the British Medical Association.

As Louder With Crowder first reported, doctors in the United Kingdom are now told to refrain from using the word “mother” when referring to pregnancy and birth.

British Doctors are now required to use a more gender-neutral word: person. Women cannot be referred to as mothers by healthcare professionals.

Presumably, these guidelines are being implemented to include trans-gendered and intersex individuals when they choose to get pregnant.

Though it may be argued that the inclusion of these individuals is important, it is absurd to exclude women from the most inherently feminine act of motherhood.

Welcome to political correctness.

A woman cannot be an expectant mother – but a pregnant person instead.
